Join us in celebrating our journey together!
Having grown up and lived in different parts
of the world, we are excited to share our special
moments with all the wonderful people.
Originally, our celebration had four parts from
Dec 2024 - Dec 2025:
two in Seattle and two in Thailand,
in Nakhon Pathom (Panda's parents' town) and Chiang Mai (Terry's parents' town).
NOW: Our wedding celebration has officially been
expanded to include the 5th part! The final celebration
will be our wedding reception in Nairobi, Kenya,
on July 24, 2026.

Part 3 | A Thai Traditional Wedding in Nakhon Pathom
Our international friends and family visited our other home in Nakhon Pathom. This special celebration took place on December 20th, 2025
Our guests of honor:
Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt (The Governor of Bangkok)
Dr. Barry Lutz (University of Washington)
Dana Brolley (University of Idaho)
The main event was held at a hotel in Suan Saen Palm Training,Kasetsart Kamphaeng Saen Campus, approximately an hour’s drive from Bangkok Airport. This memorable day was divided into three sections:
Morning: Family Ceremony
The day began with a traditional Thai water-pouring ceremony
("Rod Nam Sang") where family and guests blessed the couple by gently pouring water
over their hands while offering good wishes.
This was followed by a Buddhist blessing ceremony with monks,
a common tradition to bring luck and prosperity to the couple.
Afternoon: Engagement Ceremony
The engagement ceremony followed Thai customs, including the "Sin Sod" (dowry) presentation,
symbolizing the union of our families.
It also included the exchange of engagement rings and other Thai cultural rituals.
Evening: Dinner Celebration
The day concluded with a joyful dinner reception where friends and family gathered to celebrate.
